Rooted in Framingham, Massachusetts — one of New England's most diverse cities — I bring both deep legal expertise and personal dedication to every client I represent.
Growing up in Framingham, Massachusetts, I was surrounded by the richness and resilience of immigrant communities. Framingham is one of the most diverse cities in New England — a place where people from Brazil, Central America, and across the globe have built their lives, their families, and their futures. That experience shaped not just who I am, but why I do this work.
I was drawn to law because I believed it could be a powerful tool for justice — but only if wielded with both skill and compassion. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Legal Studies at UMass Amherst in just three years, driven by urgency and a clear sense of purpose. I then earned my Master of Arts in Public Policy and my Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.
After graduating from BU, I clerked with the Rhode Island Judiciary — an experience that sharpened my legal analysis and deepened my respect for procedural fairness and the rule of law. When I returned to practice, I knew exactly what I wanted to do: fight for immigrants who are navigating a system that can feel overwhelming and unforgiving.
My practice centers on humanitarian immigration law — the cases where the stakes are highest and the clients are most vulnerable. I represent people in removal proceedings, those held in immigration detention, survivors of domestic violence and trafficking, children seeking SIJS protection, and families pursuing legal status together. Every client I represent is a full human being with a story, a family, and a future worth fighting for.
Because so many of my clients come from Portuguese-speaking communities throughout Massachusetts, I provide fully bilingual legal services in English and Portuguese. When you work with me, you never have to worry about being misunderstood or left behind in the legal process.
My mission is simple: to be the fierce, transparent, and compassionate advocate you need when the stakes are at their highest.
Winning in immigration court takes more than legal knowledge. It takes commitment, strategy, and a genuine investment in your client's outcome.
Behind every immigration case is a person — a parent, a child, a survivor with a story that matters. I listen first, ask the right questions, and treat every client with the dignity and respect they deserve. You are never just a file number to me.
Compassion without strategy won't win cases. I fight hard — in immigration court, before USCIS, and on appeal — using every legal avenue available to protect your right to remain in the country you call home.
The immigration system is complex, but your role in the process shouldn't feel like a mystery. I keep you informed at every step, explain your options honestly, and never make promises I can't keep.
